David served his apprenticeship with Ford Motor Company where he studied the high cost of spillages. The concept of a retro fit-able in drain containment system was David’s original concept and his first product Envirovalve.
In 2006 the Enironment Agency asked David to develop a portable envirovalve for the Fire Service, which is now used on a daily basis.
David has gone on to develop many other products and services to support industry in control of water pollution events.
David sat on the steering committee and was a launch speaker for the current best practise guidance CIRIA 736. David continues to speak to professional and industry groups in pollution awareness.
